JAYS with another opportunity to Showcase their abilities

The JAYS are back on the field this week with another opportunity to Showcase themselves, after a successful weekend at the Best in the U.S. Showcase Tournament.

Last weekend, at the Best in the U.S Showcase Tournament, the JAYS put 2 teams into the Semi Finals, with the 15u and 17u JAYS both advancing with a chance to win their divisions.

Unfortunately, both teams suffered heartbreaking losses.

The 17u JAYS battled all game, exchanging the lead for the 1st 5 innings of the game before ultimately failing to hold on to the lead as they lost 11-9.

The 15u JAYS took the game down to the wire, holding a 1-0 lead until the 6th inning, before losing on a Walk Off to end the game, 2-1.

Despite the losses in the Semi Finals, all 4 JAYS teams put together a great showing, both in the tournament and in the individual showcase portion of the tournament.

All 4 JAYS teams are back to work on the field this weekend, with 3 of the JAYS teams playing their 2nd tournament of the Summer in front of College Coaches with an opportunity to showcase themselves.
