The OPA JAYS 13u - Cullivan squad is on fire this spring, locking down their 3rd tournament championship of the season after a hard-fought weekend that showcased resilience, grit, and a whole lot of heart. The team went 4-1 over the weekend, battling through tight matchups and coming out on top when it mattered most—including two clutch one-run victories that kept JAYS fans on the edge of their seats.
With a total of 40 runs scored, the JAYS' bats came alive across the board, but it was in the Championship game where one swing shifted the momentum for good. In the fourth inning, Cameron Kaspar delivered a go-ahead triple, sending the dugout into a frenzy and ultimately giving the team the spark they needed to close it out.
On the mound, Gabriel Rocha was lights-out all weekend long, earning the title of MVP Pitcher. His composure, command, and competitive edge gave the JAYS exactly what they needed in high-pressure moments.
This group continues to show what hard work, strong coaching, and team chemistry can do on the diamond. With three titles already under their belt, the OPA JAYS 13u - Cullivan team is looking like a serious contender this spring—and they’re not done yet.
Great Day to be a JAY!
